Rotterdam School of Management is one of the top B schools for MIM. RSM has multiple Masters programs such as Master in Management, International Management / CEMS, and some specialised management programmes such as Marketing Management, Strategic Management, and Human Resource Management. You have to submit the following documents online:

  1. Transcripts
  2. Letter of recommendations (1-2)
  3. Resume/ CV
  4. 4 short essay
  5. GMAT score
  6. Secondary school certificate/mark sheet
  7. English proficiency (IELTS/ TOEFL) – not mandatory
  8. Passport
  9. 1-2 very-short essays (optional)

Essays:

The short essay questions are aimed to understand your motivation and ambition, in regards with the program you’re applying to. The questions could be something like the following:

  • What demonstrates your sincere interest in the programme you are applying for? (Characters limit: 1200)
  • How do you expect the programme you are applying for to contribute to your future plans? (Characters limit: 1200)
  • Why should we select you to participate in the programme you are applying for? (Characters limit: 1200)
  • What other relevant information do you want to share with us in order to motivate your application? (Characters limit: 1200)

Remember to stick with the character limit! The 1200 character limit includes space as well! It is imperative that high quality essays are written as they have the ability to make or break your application.

The 2 very small essays can be optional, but it is always advisable to answer them as it gives you another chance to express yourself.

  • What is the main reason you decided to study at RSM? (Characters left: 300)
  • How could RSM improve its application process? (Characters left: 300)

Interview Process

NO INTERVIEW for RSM for Masters in Management program! For those of you who dread at the idea of an interview, there is some good news! There are no interview procedures.

Scholarships:

All applicants have a fair chance at getting scholarship at RSM. You may have to provide an additional essay for scholarship in your application.

There is another body of scholarship called “Orange Tulip Scholarship”, which grants scholarship to Indian students applying in Netherlands for higher education. If you have a GMAT score above 700, you will definitely get a partial scholarship by OTS. So, if you’re applying at RSM, you should definitely apply for OTS scholarship.

The process is simple send the required documents via mail before their application deadline.
